You will be asked to fill in the details of the installation.

Step 7 : If you have multiple domains associated with this account, you can select where to install it.

Step 8 :  The next two boxes require a Directory and Database Name, neither of which should exist on the server.

Step 9 : Under Site config, enter a Wiki Name and Email.

These can be changed later on from the application’s admin panel.

Step 10 : Type the desired Admin Username and Password that should be used.

Step 11 : Click Install.

After a moment, the software will be installed.

Step 12 : Once finished, you can view your new site by clicking this link.

You will be able to access your newly-installed MediaWiki by following the links on the page.

R1soft can also be used to restore files and databases. You can install the Latest R1soft cdp agent on Linux server by using following steps.

Step No. 1 : Create the yum repository for the r1soft by using the following command

/etc/yum.repos.d/r1soft.repo
[r1soft]
name=R1Soft Repository Server
baseurl=http://repo.r1soft.com/yum/stable/\$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

Step No. 2 : Install the cdp agent by using following command line

yum install r1soft-cdp-enterprise-agent

Step No. 3 : Then, install the header kernels by using following command line

yum install kernel-devel

Step No. 4 : Obtain the kernel module from R1Soft  by using following command line

r1soft-setup –get-module

Step No. 5 : To Setup the authentication key for the Agent on client server

serverbackup-setup –get-key http://cdpserverip

Kernel module is now installed.

Now, Use the following command line and load the new driver.

/etc/init.d/cdp-agent restart

Step 26 : To receive site configuration information after the installation is complete, type an e-mail address in the Email installation details to text box.

Step 27 : Review the installation options and settings, and then click Install.

When installation is complete, Softaculous provides information about the application’s configuration.

If you are using an older version of Ubuntu, or if you aren’t notified about additional drivers, you can launch the installation yourself.

Step 1 :  Go to Software & Updates -> Additional Drivers

Then you’ll see that Nvidia drivers are not in use.

Step 2 : To Check or tick the box underneath Enabled to enable the drivers.

Step 3 : Click Enable Driver.

Step 4 : Wait for the installer file to download.

Step 5 : Open the downloaded file.

Step 6 : Right click on downloaded file and mark it as execute.

Step 7 :  The drivers can only be installed in command mode, under sudo and the graphics daemon must not be running.

Step 8 : Switch to command mode tty CTRL+ALT+F1, then run following command to stop the display manager.

sudo service lightdm stop

Step 9 : If you see a blank screen, that means the mode resolution conflicts with improper video driver. Fix that by running this..

sudo sed -i -e ‘s/#GRUB_TERMINAL/GRUB_TERMINAL/g’ /etc/default/grub
sudo update-grub

Step 10 : Run your nvidia installer by using following command.

sudo ./NVIDIA_750TI_350.linux64.run
